What's Next?

Tux is up for anything, especially if it includes people!

Tux went visiting and had no problem navigating open stairs all by himself.

Tux doesn't know a stranger. He snuggled up with my sister all night.

"Tux, foster dogs are not allowed on the furniture."
"Hey, my hind feet are still on the floor."

Tux didn't bat an eye when I dremeled his nails...

So of course I had to paint them. He didn't mind that either.

Don't get me wrong, he is fun to pamper but he loves to run and play.

Even with a yard Tux does best with a daily leash walk. He likes new sights and smells.

Tux is a people lovin' hound. He wants to be with people as much as possible.
He is a great traveler and would love a family that takes him with them everywhere.

Here's Tux!

At long last you get to see more of the beautiful healthy boy that is Tux!

During the last 3 weeks Tux has been working on his leash walking skills, waiting his turn, and learning house rules. A few skills are challenging him but he is progressing every day.

Tux has more get up and go than the average greyhound. He would love a yard, and family to romp with him.

Maybe he thinks we can't see him if he hides under Marvel.

Like the greyhound he is, after the romping and playing comes the long nap.

Vaccuming? Thunderstorm? Noise? Tux says, "What's the fuss? No problem. Just chill."

He has found the joys of a good chew.

Tux loves to be with people. He is a snuggler. Even outside he came to me and laid his head on my knee.

Mr. Tuxedo's one week check-in

Hello everyone.

It's been a a very exciting, relaxing, fun and instructive week for me.  Let me start at the beginning.  Once I met my foster family, the very, very first thing I learned was how to take a selfie!

Then, quite accidently, I inspired a popular vintage automotive upholstery style AND two lovable Disney Characters!

How did I do this?  Check out my picture!
See?  Tux and Rolls!

I spent the next few days learning how to go up and down stairs, walk on a leash, responding to my nickname "Tux", giving cuddles and kisses and how to use doggy beds!

I'm great for any occasion from casual to formal - after all, my birthday suit is a Tuxedo!  I will make a great family dog, I love kids and playing with squeaky toys and meeting new people!

If your home needs a healthy dose of greyhounds, I might just be perfect for you!  You might even say I'll be A Star!  See what I did there?
